SkyPark hosted an Open Day with Devon Toner
SKYPARK Irelands new Zip Line and Sky Trekking Adventure Park hosted an Open Day before it is Officially opened by Taoiseach Enda Kenny later this month.
The Open Day – which was completely free to everyone, SKYPARK was the main attraction and was in full flow from the minute the gates opened. The SKYPARK Team also provided other activities throughout the day with Body Zorbing, Zorbing, Archery, High Ropes to keep everyone entertained.
The day was a great success with lots of family friendly activities and plenty to keep kids and adults busy. The Mallon Family from Armagh had a brilliant day. Their 3 boys got to try out SKYPARK as well as Body Zorbing and Archery. “The SkyPark is harder than you think, we can’t wait to come back and try it all again!
Devon Toner, Leinster Rugby player dropped in to wish the Mc Ardle Family well with the new park. He launched a Rugby Ball from the top of the climbing wall and a local girl called Isobel managed to catch it and she won her family a pass to SKYPARK.
The Mc Ardle Family who have used their 25 years’ experience at Carlingford Adventure Centre developed this amazing visitor attraction with financial assistance from Louth Leader.
Tom Mc Ardle MD of SKYPARK said, “Today is an exciting day for us all. We have all worked very hard to get SKYPARK up and running. We hope it will put Carlingford on the map as a tourist destination. We have an outstanding park here and one we should be very proud of.”
Ciara Cunningham, Marketing Manager of SkyPark said “We have had a fantastic turnout today with almost 1500 people through the gates. People have travelled from all over Ireland to visit SKYPARK today we are very thankful. We hope that today is the start of great summer for SKYPARK.”
